All in one green smoothie for babies
It’s never too early to get your kids hooked on green smoothies!
Baby green smoothie contains glorious healthy fat, vitamin c, potassium, fiber, & electrolytes, plus it's the perfect way to get those greens in.
Because most of the nutrition is in the peel or just underneath it, I like to use most produce un-peeled and use a high-powered blender. A vitamix will desintegrate a tree branch, so it has no problem zapping up some skin on a piece of fruit and you'll get all the benefits.
..oh, and yes it’s for adults too.
1 frozen Banana
1 organic apple (chopped not peeled)
1/2 organic cucumber (chopped not peeled)
½ ripe avocado
2 large handfuls organic spinach, kale, or other greens
1 large handful chopped parsley
Juice of ½ of a lemon or lime
Coconut water to liquify (here’s my favorite pick)
Blend ingredients in order listed into vitamix or heavy duty blender. If using fresh banana instead of frozen, add a few ice cubes. I like to put these into large ice cube trays or reusable pouches and freeze the leftovers, Your kiddos will love it!
